Fiber Art at Quincy, CA

June 19, 2011 at 12pm to June 26, 2011 at 12pm
Creating art that is sculptural, functional and wearable using a variety of natural fibers and techniques. Coiling, random weave, shibori, kumihimo, and needle felting are techniques we'll explore to create clothing accessories and embellishments, baskets and jewelry. Fibers include silk, wool and bull kelp (which dries hard to look like leather). You'll be amazed at what you have completed to take home with you at the end of the week.
