You pick one and do that every morning and then the afternoon is free for dabbling in other classes or swimming and hiking around the gorgeous area there. Creating art that is sculptural, functional and wearable using a variety of natural fibers and techniques. Coiling, random weave, shibori, kumihimo, and needle felting are techniques we'll explore to create clothing accessories and embellishments, baskets and jewelry. Fibers include silk, wool and bull kelp (which dries hard to look like leather). You'll be amazed at what you have completed to take home with you at the end of the week.
