Mushroom Foraging Season is coming!

The BAMS mushroom of the month is the Western Chicken of the Woods. It is not a choice edible but a couple of us tried it recently and it kind of taste mushroomy with a little tang. Caution, read the BAMS article thoroughly. It can make some people ill. Forage Safely. Be sure to check out your local Mycological Society listed in this group for upcoming foraging dates. They're all very knowledgeable funny folks.
