Your Connection to Bay Area Local Food and Sustainable Living

I am interested in growing heirlooms this coming summer, if you have seeds and give me some tips I 'll grow and contribute back to an general collective around this. Maybe at the end of the season we could have a Caprisi salad party with local tomatoes, basil, bread and wine/beer

I'm in...is there beer-making too?  That could be an extra bonus!

That sounds delicious!  I'd be glad to contribute.  Here's what I have to share:

  • Gardener's Delight
    Yellow Pear
    Black Krim
    Burpee Delicious
    Homestead
    Mortgage Lifter
    Ponderosa Red
    Red Brandywine
    Sunray
    Tiny Tim

They're not all Heirloom, but they are all open pollinated.  I can spare at least two or three seeds of any you'd like.
